EV Planning and Preparing: Embracing the Journey into the Unknown
As we gear up for summer with our new EV, we’re excited to embark on a series of road trips from Cambridge, ON, to our serene summer home on the shores of the Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The 1,900 km one-way journey, totalling 10,800 km for three trips, promises not just an adventure but also an opportunity to thoroughly understand the route, anticipate any challenges, and seize the joys of vacationing along the way.
Our first trip kicks off in less than two weeks, and meticulous planning is key. We’ve charted an overnight stop at an EV-friendly campground, the beautiful and highly rated Pointe Aux Oies Campsite. Perfectly located halfway to Halifax, this five-star yet economical campsite offers an array of facilities, making it an ideal spot to rest and recharge.
